Last week I dipped in to the Silver Legacy Casino for a quick meeting with Chuck Muth and I was surprised to see that Wifi internet access in one of Reno’s most prominent Casino’s is also Reno’s most EXPENSIVE internet access.

Are you kidding me? $50.00 for a week of WiFi??? This isn’t satellite data or anything. No, this is plain old, most of the time FREE, WiFi! I thought that most businesses and hotels had long ago figured out the benefits of having free WiFi access, but I guess I was wrong. So much for that.
Now I’m in Carson City, Nevada getting ready for a long day of sitting through committee’s and meetings at the Nevada Legislature, and I’m happy to see that at least they’ve figured out how simple it is to offer such a great attraction.
This is internet folks! It should be a part of your marketing plan, not a part of your revenue plan.

$5.99 per hour is highway robbery! For shame Silver Legacy!
The REAL Silver Legacy of Nevada is free access to information and freedom of speech.
I couldn’t believe it at first, but sure enough, they actually think that is “value”.
