Digg Traffic vs. Google Traffic
Yes, Digg traffic sucks for revenue compared to visits from Google. I know, I know… this is common knowledge for most. But, it’s still interesting none the less.
Chitika’s blog has a great post up about a stat finding hunt they recently went on related to the Digg traffic vs. Google traffic debate.
Like I said, to many this is obvious. I’ve had a couple pages of this blog make the front page of Digg, resulting in an almost instant 7,000 to 10,000 visits. The click action on my Google ads was hardly noticeable. Or at least, business was usual around here.
Digg traffic does, however, result in a lot of backlinks and “buzz”. Something that in the long run can be more beneficial in my opinion.
Either way, it’s a good read and interesting topic.
