Last Saturday night I installed Wordpress in one of my sub-directories to work on a few themes I’m using on other blogs. It was sort of a pain because I had to change permissions, flip back and forth to grab sidebar code from existing themes, and it just wasn’t a smooth process over all.

Then, yesterday morning I opened up my RSS feeds and found, via Blog Perfume, a great Wordpress plugin called “Theme Test Drive“.

Theme Test Drive Wordpress plugin allows you to safely test drive any theme on your blog as administrator, while visitors still use the default one. It happens completely transparently and they will not even notice you run a different theme for yourself. Best part is you can even set the testing theme options (if it has them) in the Admin panel while you are testing the theme.

Testing themes will, without doubt, be MUCH easier now.
