I do know that their are rivalries among “Patriots.” After all, we aren’t Saints. But, in any event, I wanted to tell you to keep hanging in there. Sounds like you have done a lot of good within the movement.

Pam, as I said in the post, I haven’t called any media for the past month at least. And I can’t remember the last time I bothered calling a newspaper.

I don’t know anything about Chicago TPP, so why on earth would I claim it isn’t legitimate? And I certainly wouldn’t call the media to tell them that even if I thought it was true.

I have MUCH better things to do with my time.

Eric,
I’m #2. Did you call the newspapers and say that the Chicago Tea Party Patriots is not a legitimate organization? I met you at the SEIU counter protest (which I thought you organized) and you didn’t seem all that arrogant to me. I have heard a couple other things about the in-fighting of the organizations and then hearing that you called the newspapers made me think there is something going on. I appreciate all the work that both you and the CTPP leaders are doing and without you guys I wouldn’t be as actively involved as I am. I want to make a difference and I know we can, but we have to get along.

Eric – I am so sorry that you are having to endure this. You are right. Infighting and back-biting are the LAST things we need to be engaged in. For God sakes – haven’t we had enough of that from the progressives?!

Then get out sir, because you represent whats wrong if you think that the people you listed are “loons”. The simple truth is if Palin had not been on the ticket in 2008, McCain’s loss to Obama would have been even more embarrassing than it was.

The fact is there is no longer room for compromising will ignorant people like yourself. You can ignore it all you want, which you will. So keep your precious GOP, try to make it the “Democrat-lite” Party and you will see how many elections you win without “minority” votes like mine.

Right on, Eric. The fault for our current predicament lies not with the politicians in our country, political parties, special interest groups or power-hungry individuals, but with the voters in this country. We are the ones, who over a period of 233 years, have become complacent for whatever reason and have allowed our freedoms to be infringed upon one by one. We must get back into the action like our founding fathers intended. It is more than “dirty politics”, it is about political philosophy and what is morally right under Natural Law for ourselves, our families, other individuals, and even for others in the world indirectly. It is about true public service, serving the citizens of America through public office just like our military does through their sacrifice. We must continue to revive the principles of freedom and what is required to keep it, that our founding fathers understood so well.

My point was the problem did not start with political parties, and that it will be solved through pure political activity and perseverance. Yes, making the party system (the Republican Party, here) work for us is what it is all about!

You do have one team that’s been successful recently though and that’s the White Sox with their championship a few years back.

Eric, the GOP, like the Democratic Party, is a cash cow, providing those that sit in in its organization’s leadership positions are given power they will never give up. The only hope I have is that people like Sarah Palin, outside the fray of the party now, can reek havoc upon the party elitists, re-energizing TRUE Conservatives to get involved with Conservative candidates. This is the only way we’ll change the mainstream… couldn’t care less what party you come from; people like Newt Gingrich, Michael Steele… they have forgotten their roots and have sided with special interest groups instead. FIGHT ERIC! And I’ll be in the trenches with you!

2 things we can do to encourage the GOPto listen to us and move bakc to the conservative roots.
1. Fund local conservative republicans not the RNC
2. Run for Precinct Committeeman. In Illinois you have until December 3rd to file as a write in candidate.
